Introducing Spice Bar @ The Table in Woodbridge
At the heart of Woodbridge since the 16th century, our charming townhouse has been looking after diners for over 50 years.
In 2012 Vernon Blackmore and the team opened The Table. Recommended in The Good Food Guide 2020, our reputation is as a lovely, informal eatery serving quality food with great flavours.
In summer of 2021, we opened the Spice Bar at The Table, bringing a modern twist to some classic authentic South East Asian food.
Vernon and his head chefs share the same simple ethos, that good food comes from the best, local produce. We have built close relationships with local producers, allowing us to get our hands on the freshest ingredients, whether that is fish from the quayside or vegetables grown just up the road.
We are now working with our producers on growing some of the more unusual Far Eastern vegetables we love, to add something special to the curries we’ve come to be known for and of course, a little flavour of Malaysia for sunny Suffolk!
We love bringing the community together by offering good food and a relaxing environment in which it can be enjoyed, and nothing showcases this better than our Street Food Sundays in the summer.
The Spice Bar is a lovely, welcoming bolthole whatever the weather, al fresco in our sun-kissed courtyard or inside in our cosy restaurant.
